This Privacy Policy explains how Brixaz ("Brixaz," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use brixaz.com (the "Service"). Brixaz is a U.S.-based classifieds marketplace. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name and email address.
  • Content you create: your listings, photos, messages, and any other data you choose to provide (including, optionally, a contact phone number).
  • Usage data: information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, approximate IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps.

We only collect what we need to operate a free listing platform. We do not require you to provide sensitive personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and publish your listings.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To communicate with you about your account, your listings, and important service notices.
  • To protect the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited situations:

  • Service providers: we use trusted providers to host and operate the Service. In particular, we use Cloudflare for infrastructure, data and image storage, and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Public content: content you post in a listing (such as a description, photos, and any contact details you choose to include) is visible to other users and the public.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, or to respond to valid legal process, protect rights and safety, or investigate suspected abuse.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language and theme), and understand how the Service is used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete a listing or your account, we delete or anonymize the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain certain information to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

6. Security & Data Location

Your data is stored on infrastructure located in the United States via Cloudflare. We use industry-standard security measures, such as encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct or update your information from your profile.
  • Delete your listings or your account.
  • Opt out of non-essential emails.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you additional rights:

  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we do not offer a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option. 9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law). If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
